The Christmas fever is finally over and it is time for the three modern families to go back to their old stuff. It was indeed an Express Christmas that they had last week when the three families had to decide for a Christmas celebration together before they each depart for their respective family celebrations. Last week, with everyone departing for different destinations for Christmas, the Dunphy-Pritchetts decided to have an “Express Christmas” celebration which was set up in less than 24 hours also during that day. However, during their preparations, things got a little out of hand. But each of the families was given tasks so that they could work on the celebration fast and perfect.
During the preparation for the express Christmas, Phil and Manny were tasked to purchase the turkey while Claire and Haley were in charge of shopping for the gifts. In the meantime, Gloria and Luke tried to retrieve the angel from the attic while Mitch, Lily and Alex were assigned to tree duty and Jay and Cam wrapped the gifts that were already bought.
